Hey Streamers! This past weekend Tyler Perry was at it again with Madea’s Destination Wedding. This time Madea and family attend her great niece, Tiffany’s rushed destination wedding in the Burhamas *Madea voice*. Family tensions rise with doubts about the fiancé and Tiffany’s estranged mother’s peculiar behavior, which raises more suspicions about the rushed marriage. Madea hijinks ensue at the Atlantis Hotel and Casino.
Now, other than a crazy drama script, Tyler Perry knows how to do a Madea movie. Madea and her crazy crew are still funny as ever. Honestly, the morals you’re supposed to learn from the Madea movies, Tyler Perry actually does a really good job connecting to the issue and resolving it thoughtfully. This movie is nothing different from connecting with children, relationships with exes, challenges of manhood and fatherhood, raising children, and family relations, and judging a book by its cover. At the end of the day, if you take this TP franchise as it is, you’ll laugh and learn a life lesson or parable. You can’t think too hard about these things, or you’ll realize how obvious things are or how poorly paced the movie is. Watch for the spectacle and to be reminded of the lesson in life you may have taken for granted.

Long story short, if you’re reading this review for Madea’s Destination Wedding, you already know. Tyler Perry knows how to make a Madea flick. It’s ridiculous, chuckle funny, full of banter, the typical issue-confrontation-redemption-rejoice story structure, and ultimately all the feels. A stream scale this just a handful of popcorn but for the Madea fan it’s a bowl of popcorn. Enjoy the antics for what they are.
