Hey everyone! It’s that time of year where we spread good cheer, but we also reflect upon the year we’ve had and the year to come. This has been a worrisome year for many, but we were able to watch a bunch of movies along the way. Thank you for reading and reaching out to us about the reviews and posts. Without you all, this year would not have been worth it for Stream to Big Screen.

With that said, we want to reflect on the 2022 movie year with our top movies of the year from both Trip and myself.

Trip’s Top Six Movies of 2023 and guilty pleasures (I liked a lot of movies this year, but I didn’t love enough to fill out a top ten, so here’s six):

Of course, 2022 gave us some solid cinematic moments; but, it was another rebuilding year for the theaters. There were some real box office successes like Everything Everywhere All at Once, Elvis, Top Gun: Maverick and Avatar: The Way of Water, and there were some duds not to be named here. Streaming material was plentiful and, of course, there were some delays to 2023. Below, check out the list of movies we were able to view this year and decide for yourself.
